• Specification requests are made after benchmarking the competition
• Specs validated with the pilot customer (chosen in MECAN'OUTIL vicinity)
• Frequent project reviews, some with the pilot customer, some with our safety approval engineer, the last ones with the production people (use of FMECA for hard points).
• Use of state of the art finite elements tools for computing load in stressed areas
• Partnership with pilot customer for prototype first months, for a quick product maturation

• What is the use of fitting safety guards, if they are removed by operators? Accidents are often linked with guard removal. Guard removal does not mean machine manufacturer’s liability or customer’s liability are not engaged. Existing laws  can mean very costly consequences for both….
• MECAN'OUTIL is working in partnership with safety certification specialist from early design stages our safety guards are often more sophisticated and costly than our competitors, but no accident could ever be traced to a cheapish safety protection on our machines…
• Production machines are delivered with a safety approval report. For taylor made executions, we suggest a certification specialist visit before machine shipment
